We have prepared a memorable experience for you: hospitality, good vibes, extraordinary Romanian and Dutch guests, relaxation, fun, nature activities, sports, educational workshops, new friends!

We have chosen a special location, with warm-hearted hosts, right in the middle of nature. The chosen hotel is a little gem, perfectly combining the organic with collector’s items and giving you the feeling that you’re in a fairytale house, always ready to surprise you. Let’s spend a wonderful week-end together! The festival is open also to your friends who love Romania and who could do with a one of a kind party!

There are 5 free of charge buses on the Amsterdam – De Rijp route.

If you have not booked a seat yet through the participation form, you can ask the Info Desk or send us an email at events@rompro.nl.

The tickets price at the location are € 8 for children and students and € 17.50 for adults and you can pay only cash.

Ticket Romanian Days 2017

Please follow the next steps in order to purchase your ticket:

  1. Make payment via bank transfer in the account rendered below. In the description of the payment, please specify the number of tickets you have purchased, the name of the buyer and the note “Festival ticket”.
  2. Fill in the registration form.
  3. Wait for the mail confirmation.

Terms and conditions ticket

The ticket allows you to join all activities that are included in the festival program (namely, to join any of the activities, you need to purchase a ticket). The ticket cost includes also the festival access bracelet. The ticket does not cover: hotel accommodation, meals, bike rides or boat trips.

Students must show a valid student ID when entering the festival premises. Given that the ticket number is limited to 250, please use the online registration form to make sure you can access the event.

Important! On location, the cost of a ticket is €8 for children and students and €17.50 for adults. On location, the payment can only be made in cash.

Mihai Scarlat Ensemble

A professional Balcan ensemble from Holland, led by the passionate conductor Mihai Scarlat. Genre: Balcan and Romanian music.

Saturday - 16 September

Romanian Business Community

Brings together Romanian professionals working in corporates and start-ups with freelancers and business people.

11:00-12:30 Saturday> Efficient Networking Workshop: You are at a business event, your business cards in your pocket. What next? How do you approach people? How do you introduce yourself? How to make sure you are remembered? This workshop will cover these
subjects in an interactive manner. Bring your business cards!

13:30-14:30 Saturday> Public Speaking: This workshop offers participants an introduction to public speaking, a very important skill for business professionals and entrepreneurs. Our trainer will introduce the main concepts required for a great stage performance.

11:00-12:30 Sunday> Your first business in The Netherlands. Has the thought of starting up your own company been tormenting you lately? Come join us to find out what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and what legal structure best fits your business idea. They say information is power, so why not become your own superhero today? The worst-case scenario: you will decide to keep your job and be deliriously happy with what you already have!

The Romanian Amsterdam School

It is a Sunday school, with courses taught in Romanian and a varied curricula: workshops run by Romanian teachers who are specialised in Romanian culture and civilisation, art and theatre, music and dance.

Interconnections Online School

Offers Dutch online courses for beginners and advanced students, Romanian courses as well as beginner Romanian courses.

Dance teacher at the Amsterdam Dance Association and Alkmaar Artiance.

Cristina Winters

Cristina Winters was born in Vatra-Dornei, Romania, in 1983. Currently, she lives The Netherlands and works as teacher in a city college. Her first book is “Firework man”. You are invited to interact with Cristina about her book during the book launch.

Dana Marin

Anamaria Stamp

Ana is a piano player. She moved to The Netherlands in 2010 to continue her master degree studies at the Artez Conservatory in Arnhem. Ana participated in many large-scale projects, she interpreted Stravinsky’s “Les Noces” together with the Introdans Dance Company. She toured with them, throughout the Netherlands, in 2014-2015 with Louis Andriessen’s “De Staat”.

Gabi Barbalau

Gabi performed, previously, as a bass and violin player with Ciocarlia Ensemble and Romanasul Folklore Ensemble. In The Netherlands, he studied at the Amsterdam and The Hague Conservatory.

Mariana Preda

She plays the panpipe and lives in Amsterdam. She has so far launched 2 albums – “The moon” and “Sunrise” – and she will shortly launch a new one, “The Untold Stories”. Mariana has won several music awards such as Maria Tanase Award, Mamaia Music Festival Award, and the first place in the Panpipe Competition in The Netherlands.

Dana Popa

Dana is the ROMPRO vice-president. She lives in The Netherlands since 1990, where she studied over the years and established her career as a transcultural family and relation therapist, specialised also in behavioural therapy. Relations and mixed families are her passion.

Luiza Maria Trofeo

Luzia is a Kangoo Power, Kangoo Dance and Step instructor and the only certified instructor in Hilversum to teach Kangoo Jumps fitness.

Jan Willem Bos

Famous Dutch publisher who speaks Romanian perfectly. He translated the novel „Alexandru Lăpușneanul” in Dutch.

Mezzosopran Luiza Dedisin

Luiza started her musical education when she was 6, starting with piano lessons in Chisinau, Moldova Republic. During his career as a pianist, she has developed a passion for singing.

One of the most prominent events where she performed is the Opera Gala of A Festa do Avante 2010, Portuguese summer festival. There she performed in front of 30.000 people. Currently, she is a first year master student at the Amsterdam Conservatorium, under the lead of Sasja Hunnego.

Human Passion: Luiza Dedisin at TEDxAveiro

Raluca Tudorache

In Romania, she studied and practiced professional theatre. She has a master degree in theatre (advanced), cultural management and pedagogy at the I.L Caragiale National Theatre and Film University. She is a professor at the Amsterdam Romanian School, where she teaches painting and theatre-inspired games.

Radu Ratering

Radu was born in Utrecht and he plays the piano as inspired by Radu Lupu. Radu has won several awards, including the first prize in the Steinway Piano Competition in 2016 and an award in the Princess Christina National Competition 2017.

Parking is free (approximately 100 spots).

Free of charge buses

There are 5 free of charge buses on the Amsterdam – De Rijp route.

Every ride has a limited number of 30 seats and takes 30 minutes. The seats can be reserved when you purchase your festival ticket (see “Tickets and registration”) by filling in the online registration form.

Bike and boat rental

The area of North Holland, where De Rijp is located, is called Eilandspolder. It is a quiet are, with many canals and meandering walking routes.

To visit this area, you can rent bikes and boats directly from the hotel. Please be notified that the cost of such rental services is not included in the cost of the festival ticket.

Please specify, in the online registration form, if you want to rent bikes or boats with us.
