The Romanian Business Community (RBC) is a project of the ROMPRO Foundation, which brings together specialists working in corporations and start-ups as well as freelance consultants and business people.
We are addressing the Romanian or Romanian-speaking community that is established in the Netherlands and we aim to support the business environment in various fields.
Launched on 14 June 2017, the Community was born to facilitate:
- fostering personal and professional success and development;
- improving knowledge and skills or acquiring new skills;
- expanding your network of contacts;
- guidance and support in starting and developing the business;
- information on the Dutch labour market and business environment;
- increase personal, professional and business visibility;
- stimulating trade relations and exchange of experience between Romania and the Netherlands;
- increase community prestige.
In the first year of activity we want to organize:
- quarterly virtual seminars on topics of interest to the Romanian professional community;
- bi-annual interactive events (dinner and seminars included);
- quarterly newsletters;
- bi-annual networking meetings;
- preparing the TEDxRomanianCommunity event.
Everyone has an important role, a say in the team, and together we will find the best way forward (poldermodel). The contribution of members is essential to achieve the objectives and organise quality activities.
For the proper functioning, the teams will draw up an annual plan, based on the established objectives, defining the responsibilities of each function.
The executive team, made up of the coordinators of all teams, will meet monthly (virtually or not) to prepare the activities on the agenda and to develop and implement the work plan.
