Today we went to the get-together at the Romanian church in Aalsmeer. We sewed, spun wool, knitted, crocheted and baked kale. While we worked, the church choir delighted us with carols, doinas and a few patriotic songs, worthy of Romania's national day. And, at the end, as is fitting after work, we ate the delicious fasting products brought by everyone.
