Last year we responded positively to the invitation to join the Kinderboekenweek celebration of children's books by launching a special book aimed at little ones. This year the adventure continues!
"Reis mee" is the 2019 theme and we propose to the Romanian parenting community a literary journey through the pages of the illustrated children's magazine Fabulafia. On 12 October we will have as our guest at the headquarters of the Romanian School Amsterdam Cristina Durică, the editor and coordinator of the magazine, who will present the latest issue, tell us what it means to work on a magazine and what kind of experiences such publications can bring.
Launched in 2015, Fabulafia Magazine has stood out from the beginning for its quality and outstanding design. With stories written by the best-known contemporary children's authors, with columns produced in collaboration with the British Council and the French Institute, with pages dedicated to education and visual culture, with illustrations signed by famous Romanian and international artists, Fabulafia is a truly fabulous adventure among words and images.

Free entry!Every autumn in the Netherlands, Children's Book Week (Kinderboekenweek) takes place, a widely publicised national event in which almost all schools, libraries and bookshops participate. Since 2018 we have accepted the invitation to join this celebration of children's books. Last year's theme was " Vriendschap: Kom Erbij" - "Friendship: Join us!".
