We are happy to invite you to a special event in honour of Romania's National Day!
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, 2 December 2023, starting at 12:00 noon at St. Nicholas High School in Amsterdam, located at Beethovenplein 2, 1077 WM.
Organised by the Rompro Foundation, this event will offer a rich palette of cultural events and workshops for all ages.
- Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the "Romanian Artisans Fair in the Netherlands" with Romanian delicacies and handmade items. It's a good opportunity to purchase gifts for Santa Claus/Sinterklaas and Christmas.
- Between 13:30-14:15, we invite you to participate in an exciting "Folk dance workshop for adults", held by Cătălina Negru
- For nature lovers, from 15:30-16:15, Janneke Klopp will offer a workshop: "Start hiking in Romania"
- Tourist Panel - Tourism offers from Romania (throughout the event)
And for the little ones we have lots of interesting activities:
- Between 14:30-15:15, children aged 6-10 can enjoy a fun "Folk dance workshop for children" with Cătălina Negru
- Between 15:30-16:15, children aged 6-10+ are invited to a "Basketball Lesson", coached by Alexandru Iosup and Ana Lucia Varbanescu.
- Younger children, aged 2-8 years, can join the 'Children's Workshop' throughout the event, or try their hand at 'Face painting' by registering on site.
