Spotlight Romania Film Festival takes place this year at The Hague 27 November - 1 December 2019
and, wow, it's our anniversary edition.
This year we are celebrating 5 years of Spotlight: Romania and bringing our most extensive programme to date: film screenings, talks with Romanian filmmakers, book stands, children's film workshops and, last but not least, our very own Romanian food festival - Spotlight: Romanian Cuisine. Here you can find an overview of the activities:
18:30 Romanian classical dinner followed by a screening of the festival's opening film
20:15 "Alone at my wedding"directed by Marta Bergman

28 November:
Film screenings (location: De Nieuwe Regents) 20:15 "Some conversations about a very tall girl" directed by Bogdan Theodor Olteanu "Ivy" directed by Sarra Tsorakidis
29 November:

19:15 Party with Black Sea Surf Music (The Grey Space in the Middle)
30 November:
Children's Day - all day - A selection of six workshops children's film. (De Vaillant Theatre)
Film screenings (De Vaillant Theatre): 19:30 "Lemonade" directed by Ioana Uricaru, 16:30 "The Caisa" directed by Alexandru Mavrodineanu
1 December:
Film screenings throughout the day, literary café, talks with writers, book stand, market (12:00-18:00) , Romanian cuisine (12:30 & 17:30 ) at De Nieuwe Regents

Screening of the closing film of the festival in the presence of the director: 19:30 "Monsters" directed by Marius Olteanu
