We look forward to celebrating spring and four years of Rompro activity on March 1st!
On this occasion, we are organising a fair of beads made by skilful Romanian hands from the Netherlands. Creative wonders will be waiting for you from 13:00-17:00 at Dance School Mittelmeijer in Amstelveen.
In addition to the beads and various crafts we bring a photo booth, music, positive energy and ...cake. Each guest is asked to bring a sweet or savoury dish, ready to serve.
Dance & Partycentrum Mittelmeijer is easily reached by car from the A9 motorway or by public transport. Free parking is available on site subject to availability.
Our hosts' bar will also be open during the event. Drinks are paid separately at the bar. Payment only in cash (no card payment option).
Entrance fee:
- €5 for adults
- €2 for teenagers between 11 and 18 years old
- free for children up to the age of 10
IMPORTANT: PAYMENT FOR THE ENTRANCE, BAR AND MARZIPAN IS IN CASH.
If needed, the nearest ATM can be found within 350m walking distance at the intersection of Lindenlaan and Van der Hooplaan.

1st of March is a wonderful Romanian celebration of Spring! Come and celebrate it with us at a cosy market!
We are organizing a handmade fair on the 1st of March, between the hours of 13:00 and 17:00 in Amstelveen at the Mittelmeijer Dance School. The 1st of March is an important celebration of Spring in the Romanian culture. It's main element is a red and white thread that is gifted together with a small token to dear people in one's life. The tokens available at this market are designed by Romanian artists living in The Netherlands.
We are also celebrating 4 years of ROMPRO activity. ROMPRO is the Romanian Foundation for Romanians in The Netherlands. We bring the cake, the photobooth and the fun. Join the fun and bring something good to eat too!
The location can be easily reached both by car (Highway A9) as well as through public transport. Parking is possible at the location based on availability.
There will be a bar at the location that will be providing the drinks for the evening. Drinks are charged separately. CASH ONLY.
