On 23 March we meet at OBA Javaplein to celebrate the work of author and translator Jan Willem Bos. One of the most important promoters of Romanian literature in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jan Willem also has a fascinating autobiographical book "From the Rhine to the Danube and Back" published in 2022 by Humanitas, which we will discuss in more detail.
In the second part of the meeting we will discuss with a number of guests the trials and tribulations that Central and Eastern European authors go through to make their works available to the Dutch public.

The meeting is organized in collaboration with the Romanian Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Romanian Cultural Institute Brussels.
