Our lesson today was an introductory one, in which we tried to get to know each other better.

We also had a theme - "Who am I? Let's meet our friends!" in which we tried to discover ourselves a little bit at a time. Through play, each child introduced themselves and told us a few details about what they like.

Then we introduced a slightly more energetic game in which we "virtually" made chocolate cake and cheesecake. After learning how to make it, I enjoyed this time "in real life" the brownie I made. And I'm glad they said they liked it.

In the second part of the lesson we told the story "The Enchanted Window or The Story of Friendship" in which Ionel was a sickly boy who was not allowed to go out of the house, only to sit in bed and look out of the window. At one point he sees a shadow and then a penguin eating a hot dog who came by the window and said to Ionel 'Hello!'. Then a little monkey with a balloon came through the window and looked at Ionel and said hello. So Ionel didn't feel so lonely any more, and was even a bit amused by the animal jokes. After getting well, Ionel went to school. There his classmates asked him how he was, how he was doing. Suddenly he saw a penguin suit in the bag of one of his classmates to his right. On his left, in another classmate's bag, he saw a monkey suit. Then, Ionel, he realised that at the window that evening he actually saw his colleagues who wanted to cheer him up and not feel lonely anymore. He thanked them and since then, Ionel promised himself that just as his friends had done for him, he would make sure that no one ever felt sad and alone.

The children then drew/pasted what they understood from the friendship story. Here we discovered their creative talents in both the little ones and the older ones.

Towards the end, we ended with little movement games to conclude the first lesson in a few words.
